Pastor's Message

Well, 2010 is already underway in a big way. Our Upward Basketball and Cheerleading is in its fifth season. This year, we have 138 in our Upward Program. This is a new record. Last year, we had 115. We praise God for our Upward Program. We have reached a number of kids and parents through the Upward program.

Also, we have been discussing our Preliminary Proposed Concept. The Preliminary Proposed Concept involves building a new Sanctuary and Educational/Multipurpose space. We are excited about the input and enthusiasm that the church has given. God has been blessing us for years and now we are looking at our future expansions of our ministries.

As we begin 2010, we are interested in paying off our current debt on the van and facilities. Hopefully, we will pay off the van by February. Then we will focus our attention on our facilities debt. We are encouraging members to help us on the debt. We would love to have this debt retired by June.

Most importantly, we are interested in participation in our ministries. It takes everyone to achieve God’s ministry. We need everyone. Everyone is important to God. As the Body of Christ we can do God work in this work. All the things described thus far, takes willing workers. Let us be great workers for God in 2010.
