What to Expect

Our typical order of service for a Sunday morning gathering goes something like this:

The doors are open prior to each service so you can find helpful information in the main foyer at the guest center, visit with other people and find a seat in the worship center.

Ushers and greeters offer smiles, welcome people at the doors, and offer bulletins to those who want written reminders of what's going on this week or month at Zion's Cause.

Look for those Hospitality members at the doors or at the Information Counter in the main foyer to gladly assist you in finding classrooms, worship areas, getting detailed information about upcoming events, or simply to answer your questions.

A typical service includes announcements, time to worship our Lord in song, a message from God's Word with our Senior Pastor, Dr. Charles Frazier and an opportunity to give our tithes and offerings to God. Usually 45 minutes - 1 hour.

How to Dress

Most of us dress casually, but some still like to dress it up for church. The average dress is casual to business casual. Wear what you will be comfortable in -- we do!

We have a dedicated and loving Children's Ministry staff.

Infant to 3 years: We have an excellent nursery for all services that is close to both worship areas for a quick parent access if needed.

Children's Church is for those kids from 4 years old-3rd grades at 8:30 & 10:30 AM.

Sunday school for all ages is at 9:30 AM.

Our Worship Style

Our church is comprised of a wide range of worshippers. We offer different styles of worship at ZCBC.

If you like traditional hymns and choir, you may want to visit our 8:30 AM services in the Main Sanctuary.

Or if you prefer more of an intimate worship with a live band with a style that emphasizes modern/blended worship songs then you might want to check out the 10:30 AM worship service in the Sanctuary.

At Zion's Cause, worship is not just something we do, it's who we are. The musical portion of our worship gathering is not treated as a warm up, but rather it is an integral part of how we experience God and community.
